Avante Cuideiru is a pipe band created in 1985 as part of the Traditional Music School of with same name. It is, as a result, one of the oldest pipe bands in Asturias. Conducted by Jose Manuel Fernández “Guti”, the Nuavus tiampus with which the cd is opened reflect very well the way of new sonorities that the group looks for, getting close to disco music or playing their own version for famous tracks from other genders such ( Contamíname, Va pensiero). But they forget neither traditional tunes nor compositions coming from these sources.
