Cider is, without any doubt, one of the emblems of asturian culture. What is more, asturian cider invites you to drink it and enjoy it in good company. On the “romería”( feast), the bar and the “espicha” ( where she is the queen) songs come out soon. As Juanín de Mieres – an alive tonada’s eminence- said: “ The bar was the lecture room of astuian singing”. The album compiles a short sample of different possible tunes that can be sung around cider.
